Documentation Format and Editing Limitations

You may have noticed that our downloadable documentation is available exclusively in PDF format. This approach helps maintain the integrity of the content, as our safety program writers have dedicated extensive time ensuring all information complies with the latest OSHA and Third-Party standards.

The material provided is designed to safeguard your employees not only while performing their work tasks but also when they are on-site alongside others who may present potential hazards.

Our safety management system also allows you to customize certain documents by adding Company or Site-Specific Safety information.

Company-Specific Safety Requirements can be included as an Addendum at the end of your Federal or State Safety Programs. These requirements also appear in your Employee Handbooks just before the Acknowledgement page. This section is reserved for safety guidelines that your organization implements above and beyond OSHA standards

Site Specific Safety Requirements can be incorporated when creating a Site-Specific Safety Manual. During the setup, there is a section titled Project Safety Requirements under the Site-Specific Settings where you can enter these guidelines. These should reflect safety practices that exceed OSHA standards and are required either by your organization or the job site.

National Protect Your Hearing Month is observed every October and aims to raise awareness about the importance of preserving our hearing health. Hearing loss is a prevalent issue that affects millions of people worldwide, and it can have significant impacts on our quality of life.

This month serves as a reminder to take proactive steps to protect our ears and prevent hearing damage. The campaign encourages individuals to adopt healthy hearing habits such as using ear protection in noisy environments, turning down the volume on personal listening devices, and taking regular breaks from loud noise exposure.

By participating in National Protect Your Hearing Month, we can take important steps towards preserving our hearing health and fostering a culture of awareness and prevention surrounding hearing loss.

With your OWYN Safety service, you have access to documents and training that will assist you with implementing an effective workplace Noise Exposure/Hearing Conservation Program.
